The historic Timothy Brown House was built in 1863 as the grand residence of a prominent Madison banker and his family. It was divided into seven apartments in the 1930s. This stately building is located in the Mansion Hill neighborhood and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The apartments feature high ceilings, elaborate woodwork, hardwood floors and modern electrical, heating and cooling systems.
